As salam u'olls!!

Hah, dah terlebih rajin pulak Farahiyah Jasni nih! Siang tadi dah post an entry, tonite ada lagi satu plak! Hahaha.. *Jangan tegur.. Masa tengah ada idea ni, biorkan le... Ahaks..*

Actually just nak share problem that I am facing quite recently with my baby.. I dunno why *and don't understand why..* it is soooo hard to get her to sleep at night now... Hadoi.. Berperang ok?? Bila sampai malam je, usually after dinner, dia mula lah buat perangai tak mau duduk dalam bilik. If we are at outside of our room, she refuses to get into the room.. If we are inside the room, she will try her best to get me or anyone lah to bring her out! Eventho mata dia dah berair and merah mengantuk! 

Nih tadi ni, dia menangis berlagu-lagu nak keluar dari bilik! "Jom ma...Jom ma" katanya! Pujuk la macam-macam. Offer 'didi' (translate =  'nenen' = bf) *oh btw, she was the one who created the term.. Tah mana datang, I pon tatau! Hihi* pon tak mau! 

Menguji kesabaran jugak lah.. As if she sleeps now, there will be no tomorrow! Macam esok-esok tadak nak main.. Hehehe.. I dunno lah kalau memang at this old, kids will behave like that.. Experienced mama, please share ye.. Hehehe..

Oh btw, Fatin Amani is going to be 19months end of this month.. Huhuhu.. Jap je masa berlalu.. Dah besar dah anak mama.. Sat gi nak wean dah.. Immunization jabs pon dah complete dah for now.. Dah sekolah nanti pulak baru ada balik.. 

Alhamdulillah, syukur, she's healthy, and active so far and am hoping she will always be. And getting smarter and banyak perangai too! And talkative too *eventho pelat and sometimes only she and GOD understands what is she mumbling*.. Hehe..

Always be my baby.... Mmuuaahhh

Note out of topic: Gagal sekali lagi beli KFC guna CIMB Treats Point hari nih.. It was my 2nd attempt. This time around, the credit card machine lak down! Haish... Saje tau korang nih,tak kasik I pakai my treats point.. Niat di hati nak beli KFC so that can utilize treat points yg seciput tuh, so tak yah pakai cash, tak boleh pule.. Tak pasal-pasal kena spend cash! Haih, kalo tau, baik pi beli nasi goreng kampung je kat kedai belakang umah ni! Murah sikit! Hehehe.. Cobaannnn!!! ;p

Hello...Anyone At Home???

As Salam u'olls....

Hi!!!! How are you? Apa kabar? 

Jap..gimmi few moments to tepuk-tepuk sang habuk and sanak saudara dia yg dah buat rumah kat blog urs truly nih.. Huhuhu.. Raya sakan nox.. Sampai tak dan update blog!

Hahaha.. No lahh.. Actually, I malas je.. *Standard lah deyy.. Tak kenal-kenal lagi I?! hehehe...*

K lah, as muqaddimah *lama tak sembang, takkan terus-terus cite hard core kan? Muqaddimah dulu...*, how's ur raya? Was it exciting? Fun? Dissappointing? Heart-breaking? Hahaha.. Hope not the last 2 options la.. 

Mine was *eh, I shud be using 'is' I guess.. Sebab raya ada berbaki few days lagi kott..* good, Alhamdulillah.. This time around is Gombak's turn for us *3 beranak* to beraya at. So, obviously, it was very-very fun! Coz I got to celebrate my 1st syawal and malam raya with my family.

Beraya at in-laws' bukan tak best, it just.., hmm.., how shud I say it, 'DIFFERENT'.. Hehehe.. Yup, I guess that's the word, different and weird.. Because their way of celebrating is not the same with my family's. So, after years celebrating it with 'our-way', when suddenly switch to other 'custom' of course lah akan rasa pelik kan.. But, camana pon, I still have to adapt.. Kena lah tolerate, follow the schedule, so, happily, this year, is Gombak's turn! Yeay!! Hehehe

Ok, the theme for our nucleus family this year was BLUE... So Alhamdulillah we managed to get Blue-based baju raya for each one of us. Hubby made *dia tempah la of cos, tak ada makna dia buat sendiri..* a new baju melayu this year. Me myself tempah a cotton baju kurung yang siap hanya 2 hari before raya.. *sebbaik siap nyah..,kalo tak siap, lagi naya!*. And my lil princess got a very cute baju kurung made by nenek.. Yup, u heard me rite, her nenek *my mama* jahitkan baju kurung for her beloved grandchild nih..

Pagi raya sangat meriah, especially the lil girl yg sangat excited beraya tahun ni. macam tak pernah raya! *eventho her 1st raya last year when she was 6mnths old and she didn't understand what was actually happening! hehe..*. After Solat Sunat Eid, we all gathered together for sesi bermaaf-maafan di pagi raya.. Then photoshoot session *but the pics are still in sissy's camera.. haish..*..

Then we were off to nenek's house at sg buloh. the best thing about raya this year was, my cuzzies pon beraya kat belah sini dulu. So Kak Wiwi's and Kak Yani's family were all there in Sg Buloh. Meriah la.. Baru la rasa raya macam zaman kanak-kanak ribena dulu.. Hehehe... Lepas tuh we went to Ayah's family at Kepong. Since Atok & Nenek is no longer around *Al-fatihah for both of them.. :( *, so we went to Mak Su's house which is used to be arwahs' house. Uncles and aunties semua kumpul situ biasanya. So senang nak jumpa sanak saudara..

Lepas tuh beraya macam biasa la. Pi umah sanak saudara. On the evening, we went back to in-laws' house at Klang. Yg best, siap singgah Giant Shah Alam.. Hahaha.. Tah, laki bini mcam ngada-ngada, nak pi melawat Giant di hari raya pertama.. Hahaha.. Tak ada keje sungguh!

But, the most exciting part of 2011 raya was the vacation!! hehehe.. We went for vacation *sambil beraya* at A-Famosa Resort, Melaka on the 3rd day of Raya.. My family memang rajin pi vacay. Ayah and Mama kata, masa vacay la our family get together closer.. Yup, memang betul pon! I setuju.. InsyaAllah, kalau ada rezeki, I pon plan nak do the same for my own family... *can't wait for our vacay secara berjemaah soonnn!!! Ngeee...*

Kebetulan, Ayah's kampung is at Jasin, Melaka. But, unfortunately, orang-orang tua sume dah tak ada.. So dah tak banyak tempat nak ziarah. Yg muda-muda Ayah tak bape nak rapat.. So, kalau balik Melaka, destinasi nya rumah ayah's sister, Mak Itam and her late sister's house, Mak Uda, which is currently stayed by arwah's hubby and family.

We spent 3days 2 nights at Famosa. Had a very good time! Especially with my lil one.. Dia sangat suka 'epen' (translate = elephant = gajah) hokay... Dan juga binatang2 lain.. Dan dia juga sangat suka swimming.. Hahaha.. Alhamdulillah.. We had fun there...

Assalamualaikum u'olls..

Ei,lamanya i tak hapdet ini blog.haha..tak de menda nak citer la.. Lagipon, bulan puasa nih, macam tak ada mood nak menulis. Rather than writing something that might annoy anybody, I wud prefer to be silent.. Much better kan? hehehe..

Ok.., hari nih 27th of Ramadhan.. Huwaaaa.... Cepatnya masa berlalu.. Honestly, jujur from bottom of my heart, I did bad for this Ramadhan.. Rasa kurang beriman.. :( Moga-moga Allah terima amalan I yg seciput tuh dan ampunkan segala dosa-dosa I.. Astaghfirullah hal azim.... Huhuhuhuhu.... :( And Allah, plz give me chance to be in another Ramadhan next year.., hoping that I can make up for this one...

Actually, in this entry, I wanna wish EID MUBARAK, SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI to u'olls... Di kesempatan ni, I mohon maaf and ampun, ikhlas dari hati, atas segala salah silap I, yang sengaja mahu pun tidak.. Ampunkan I ye kawan-kawan.. Actually, I pernah dengar satu ustaz cakap, memohon maaf dari Tuhan adalah lebih senang sebenarnya daripada memohon maaf dari sesama manusia. True! 

Sebab Allah itu naturenya PENGAMPUN dan PEMAAF, but, we human, ada rasa dendam, marah dan EGO. Jadi, kadang-kadang susah nak berlapang dada. Kan? I dunno bout u'olls, but I memang ada perasaan tu.. In fact, now pun, masih ada manusia yg I still marah and geram for what that makhlukat has done. Huhuhu.. Susahnya nak just let go and berlapang dada selapang-lapangnya... Hati kotor kot! Takpe, I'll try my best to work on it... Huhuhu.. Kalo kita tak memaagkan, cane orang len nak maafkan kita ye dak?

So, k lah.. Selamat Hari Raya kawan-kawan.. Yg nak balik kampung, please do be careful di jalan raya, ok! Stay alert and focus!

Syoknya puasa..

Assalamualaikum u'olls... And Salam Ramadhan..

Pejam celik,dah 9 hari kita ber'Ramadhan' tahun nih.. How time flies, kan? Anyway, how are u'olls doing so far? Hopefully kita semua dapat barakah Ramadhan tahun ni ye..

I've been quiet for a while *err...seminggu je kot!..* Honestly, I macam tatau nak cerita apa.. So dok diam je la kan.. Hehe..

Ok, in this entry, I wanna share one YouTube file entitled "Syoknya Puasa".. I believe some of you *err..probably most of u guys* had seen this video before.. 

This video is about training our children to fast during Ramadhan.. Watak utama dalam video? Ha..., jeng,jeng,jeng..mestila wanita yg saya minat itu, Wardina Safiyyah.. She shared her techniques or method in training her eldest daughter, Amna to fast during Ramadhan.. Amna is 8 years old this year..

I personally enjoy sangat video ni, and I memang ase guidance Wardina bagi memang tepat and applicable.. 

Korang tengok dulu video ek. Lepas ni kita cite-cite lagi... hehe..

So, what do u guys think? Best kan? 

I love the part where she highlighted about the priority of training our child to Solat rather than fasting. She's sooo true when she said, we Malaysian were brought up with the mind set that during Ramadhan, we have to fast. If we don't then memang kita teruk gila la.. Tapi, no one cares, if a Muslim in Malaysia take his/her responsibility to solat 5 times a day leisurely.. Rasa nak buat, buat, kalau malas, tak buat! Betul kan?

Then about being honest about fasting. Memang betul, kalau zaman kita and I believe even during our parents childhood days, we were so afraid to tell our parents that tak larat nak puasa hari tuh.. Reason being, one, maybe takut parents marah, two, takut duit raya kena potong *this was my reason! ;p*, and I suppose ada banyak lagi.. 

So, kalau budak-budak yang gigih bertahan, dia tahan la.. BUT..yg jadi problem nya when the kids are so afraid to be honest with their mom/dad yg dia tak larat puasa, they tend to curik-curik bukak puasa behind their parents.. Which is even worse.. Naudzubillah.. When that happens, maknanya the parents bukan train anak-anak puasa la,  train jadi penipu pulaknya.. Huhuhu.. 

These shouldn't be happening for our child generation.. And we are as parent really need to train our child well.. So, my humble opinion, sebagai parent yg ada tanggungjawab mendidik anak-anak, tak payah la being too strict and pushy. And again, Wardina is right, we need them to understand why they need to do this & that instead of forcing them to do something that they don't understand.. 

Budak-budak kot.. Kasik can la sket.. Kalau dia tak larat, bagi la berbuka. Sekurang-kurang dia mencuba. And pasal attire pon sama. I personally think, TAK APA sangat untuk pakaikan anak-anak yang mumayyiz ni pakai baju sexy-sexy sket.. I mean, we still need to consider their condition, kot panas ke, kot tak selesa ke, jadi rasanya tak salah pakaikan baju yang mungkin sexy sket.. 

I memang tak setuju la kalau kecik-kecik dah pakaikan tudung, pakai baju tutup segala menda, macam, tak seswai kot.. They are children for God sake.. kasik can la.. I memang intend untuk pakaikan Fatin segala skirt yang nampak betis, or sleeveless shirt & gown sampai dia umur 4 or 5 years.. I prefer dia selesa berpakaian rather than seksa dia menutup aurat sebelum waktunya.. haha.. 

My sexy baby.. Auww..

Well, that's my opinion.. Others might have different idea in mind kan.. 

So that's all.. Hoping that we can learn something from the video.. Selamat berpuasa & beribadah u'olls..

Mama, Saya Lapar..

Assalamualaikum u'olls...

Salam Ramadhan.. How are u'olls on the 1st day of Ramadhan.. I'm hoping that u'olls are in good health and even more energetic and alert than normal days.. InsyaAllah... 

Guess everyone knows that fasting shouldn't be an excuse for us to be weak, slow and worse becoming lazy.. Allah will never ask HIS servants to do anything that will cause bad effects to us. But unfortunately in Malaysia, we grew up with that perception.. Ramadhan is the month to relax-relax.., malas-malas.., tido-tido.. As if, when we're fasting, we can't do much/any work.. *yours truly pon sama dengan je... Haih...*

Patutnya tak camtuh kan? Do you guys remember the sirah, where Rasulullah s.a.w and sahabat even went to war during Ramadhan!! Amazing kan? Jom, baca sikit pasal Perang Badar.

Hehe.. Ok, now, back to the original topic.. Kisah Mama, Saya Lapar.. hehe.. Actually, I just wanna share with u'olls, I just bought a book entitled Mama, Saya Lapar written by Wardina Safiyyah *Oh.., I adore this woman!!*.. I believe, most of you mommies knew this book, and I believe most of you had it already..

Actually, I was introduced to this book by a very good friend of mine.. Pn Izzah Sidek.. *Thanks Cik Jah!!*.. Lama dah.. In fact, almost a year dah.. It was Ramadhan last year when we double date for iftar secara berjemaah.. Hehe.. She lent me her copy. Masa tuh, Fatin was just started to take solid. So, she let me borrow the book for my guidance.. It do really helps.. Banyak yang I belajar from the book.. 

So, after a year, and since I guess Izzah might also need the book now for her kids *we mommies always need to refer to something isn't it?*, so I decided to have my own copy.. Thus, it's easier for me to refer.. Although I dah katam sekali baca buku tuh, tapi of course lah tak dapat nak hafal semua info dalam tuh kan? So, better ada my own copy for reference.. 

And I tell u'olls what, memang sangat worth it to buy this book.. Banyak graphics and the points are elaborated in such an interesting and eye-catchy way.. 

Information? Of course loadssss of it.. Ada certain things that we might think remeh, tapi bila kita hadapi masalah tuh, kita garu kepala tak tau nak buat apa.. Contohnya masalah anak dengan sayur.. *tak payah anak la, kadang-kadang the mommies & daddies pon ada problem dengan sayur! Haha*.. Then how to handle children yg liat sangat nak makan.. Then ada jugak info on breastfeeding.. And yg I paling suka, ada some recipes that Wardina suggests for kids berbeza-beza ikut umur.. For me yg slalu pening apa nak bagi anakanda makan ni, memang a big help la..

So, I memang recommend for mommies yang looking for reference for your kids's diet and eating habit, this book is just perfect!

I surely believe, the book is available in any book store. Sebab the penerbit is Alaf21.. But, I bought my copy via online je.. Haha.. Biasala, I kan pemalas.. So, ada online, rembat terus. I ordered thru Karangkraf Mall. Price is RM19.90 sahaja.. :)

Together with "Mama, Saya Lapar" book, I also ordered a novel, entitled "Valentina Nervosa".. Actually, the author of this novel was my schoolmate masa kat SMKA Kuala Selangor dulu.. Nurul Syahida.. The novel is super best! *not because she's my friend or watsoeva, but citer tuh memang best tau!*.. I dah baca 2 of her novels. This "Valentina Nervosa" and "Aku kan Novelis". Both of it memang tak mengecewakan.. Khusyuk nih baca.. *sampai geram ngan Fatin bila ngada-ngada tarik perhatian bila mama tengah layan novel.. Ish..ish..ish... Bad Mama...! *

Going to get another 2 of her novels soon.. "Plain Jane" and "Soalnya Hati"..

Therefore for friends yang suka baca novel *dan berangan we are the heroin of the story while reading it..oooppss...*, try to read one of Nurul Syahida novel, terbitan Buku Prima, I guarantee, u'olls mesti nak carik her karya yang lain.. Hehe.. Such a talented author! *aih.. up member lebih nampak! Haha..*
