Morning! U'ols,sejak dua menjak ni,phone i selalu hang.mungkin sebab lately it is heavily used.almaklumla,org berpantang,bila sangap tu belek phone lah!fb,twitter,blog,youtube.semua pun nak bukak lah!memang jadi stalker,tiap status org i baca!hahaha.
*note:situation describe above is only applicable when fatin amani is at school.otherwise,memang mama tak menang tgn layan dua2 permata hatiku ini..haha*

Mungkin juga petanda that i should get a new phone?maybe yg lebih canggih processornya like s3 or note2?or mayb iphone?err,enche jdai?kot-kot enche jdai nak hadiahkan saya phone baru ke?

Because, I know deep inside he would love to have one of these! And kebetulan, his current phone *and sila tahu, current phone dia pon memang dah agak ketinggalan zaman...* memang dah bengong... 

So he needs to use my old phone temporarily which is also not in the perfect condition... Kena pakai loudspeaker bila nak cakap telefon! Kasihan....

Last time when I was like angau nak kan new phone, dia belikan.. Now that he's in need of a new one, I tak mampu nak beli for him pulak!

So, yeah..., kalau I ada duit banyak at this particular time, I will buy a new phone *that particular model!* for Enche Suami.. 

"Enche Suami, I mintak mahap ye... Now I tak ada duit lah... Mari kita berdoa supaya Allah turunkan rezeki dari langit sedebuk so that I can buy that phone for you eh! Hehehehe..."

Seriously, I pissed off!!! Hari ini attempt kedua contractor UNIFI datang rumah untuk install the precious unifi kat teratak kecil kami ni.. And kali kedua juga usaha GAGAL!!!

Pffft...pfffttt.........

First time, tab log was missing... *memang khianat pengkhianat yang mencuri tab log rumah kami itu!!*, and this 2nd time, usaha gagal lagi sebab cable pula jahanam... *jahanam betul!*

Yang buat I nak jadik incredible hulk sangat nih, sebab dah pernah report pasal kerosakan regarding this phone-internet-line thingy to the management, and they took their own sweet time to repair it *sebulan hoccay???*, yet, ada problem lagi!!! Dah sekali harung buat tuh, cek la balik segala menda to make sure everything ok, KAN??? Nih dah kena buat kerja banyak-banyak kali.. Menyusahkan kami, menyusahkan contractor UNIFI dan menyusahkan diri sendiri.. Kan??

Now my order to UNIFI return balik...2 kali dah! Nanti I kena call balik UNIFI to confirm and re-schedule appointment.. Not to mention the pressure calling the management to follow up on the status of the repair work and almost everytime, *except for the last call* was frustrating!! 

FRUST SUNGGUH!!!! MARAH SUNGGUH!!!!!

Disebabkan I marah, memang I dah naik hantu mengamuk dekat rep of the management team of my apartment ni tadi.. Guess it's been a while since I mengamuk macam tuh! Seriously u'ols, I pissed off!!! Geram sangat...

And that guy leh pulak cakap "Sub-con saya tengah busy..",

Heh, silap hari bulan la nak berlawak dengan saya enche.. Terus I maki dia kat situ jugak! I rasa satu level leh dengar I mengamuk kot! Di depan budak-budak contractor UNIFI tuh gak I maki rep tuh..

Banyak lah dia punya busy! Dah la salah dia buat keje tak betul-betul, pastuh boleh nak bagi alasan busy pulak bila orang complain?? 

Baru nak terkebil-kebil bijik mata...

I don't care, I want this to be fixed in 2 days time!!! 

Apa motif tulis sini pun tatau.... Bukannya u'ols leh wat pape.. Huhuhu.. Tolong dengar je lah ek!

Laptop Master-Ji

Assalamualaikum U'olls..

Happy Saturday! How's ur weekend so far? Guess some of us might having a long holiday, since the Deepavali. Including la yours truly.. Mine was considered emergency leave rather than 'holiday' actually. Haha..

Deepavali was on Wednesday, so by right, I should be coming to the lab on Thursday, unfortunately, some COBAAN came up, so I decided to be absent and solve whatever problems first. Then on Friday lak, I did planned to go to the lab, tiba-tiba, on the Thursday's midnight, Fatin's temp spike up to 38degree. So I have to cancel my plan.. *like I really sad my plan was cancelled.. Haha*

Hopefully by Monday, nothing comes up, and my mood is at best to do my work, InsyaAllah.. Hehe

Alright, now, here, I'm proudly categorized myself as Laptop Master-Ji *wahh, statement berani..*. Hahaha... Agak *bukan agak,memang pon..* perasan di situ.. But anyway, last week, I managed to solve my laptop problem that I faced since last year.. Yeay!!

FYI, I owned a very cikai laptop, a DELL STUDIO 1537 which I bought *secara berjemaah with my babe, Dyana* back then on 2009. This laptop came with a pre-loaded Windows Vista *which is very the tak best*. Guess those who has experience using Vista should know how satisfying *inverted comma* it is.

So, one sweet day, I decided to upgrade the OS to Windows 7. Since none of us at home possessed the installation CD, I sent my beloved lappy to nearest computer store.

After that, yeay, my lappy was running a Windows 7 Ultimate OS. Memang bergaya, kelas dan menarik! *at that time, we were soo jakun with Win 7*..

After some time, I noticed there were slight problem. The graphics became shredded if I let the lappy runs for a while, or when I ran any heavy program like MatLab, or anytime I opened movie! Yes, it was slight problem at first. Not after it made me having a very tough time typing my assignments, or doing Matlab codes, or even check my FB's wall, since everything became shredded!! Then it became a very serious problem. Hukhukhuk...

I did brought the laptop to repair service. They said it was virtual memory problem. And that guy did something. It was OK for only a while, then it happened again..

Actually the solution was quite simple, just change back to Vista la kan? But being soo degil and ta'ban, I refused! Vista tak best! Hahaha.. *Yg sebenarnya den nak gak pakai Win 7 tuh.. Org len pakai, den pon nak gak.. Haha..*

Finally, I did something that solved the problem. But it cost me a lembab laptop since I had to remove my 1G RAM left me with only 2G RAM in my laptop..FYI, the laptop came with originally 3G RAM when I first bought it. Weird, I mean on how it solved the problem, but obviously, it works. But, dapat agakla kan when I run Matlab or C++ Programming ke, how lembab my laptop will be..

But since I still want to use Windows 7 and no shredded graphics, I gagah juga la gune.. Bak kata orang tua, 'biar lambat, asal selamat'.. Hahaha.. But not segagah my friend Dyana who keep using her laptop even with the shredded graphics here and there... Kasihan kami kan?

One day, something triggered me to dig for the solution in the net. Since Dyana & I were having the same issue, so I guess it must be that model that having problem with Windows 7. 

So, I post my problem in Lowyat Forum. Quite a lot of suggestions. There were few guys suggested for me to update the BIOS version. 

I checked my BIOS version. It was a A08 version. My guess it was 2008's version. Guess by then, Windows 7 wasn't released yet. So, that's why my BIOS doesn't support the specs for Windows 7.. *wild guess.. Bajet terer.. ;p * 

I downloaded the latest BIOS version from DELL.

So, after re-formatting my Laptop *thanks to hubby who generously bought for me the original Win 7 Installer! :) *, I flashed in the new version of BIOS and put back my 1G RAM in and tadaaa...., no more shredded graphics!!! YEAY!!! The problem is solved!!!

Wanted to make sure, was it the Win 7 original installer the hero, or the updated BIOS version, so I dengan confident nya *again, bajet terer..* offered Dyana to fix her laptop. So I only flashed in the BIOS to her laptop, same like I did to mine. Again, tadaaa.... it fixed the problem!! Hippa, hippa, hey!! *excited in BabyTV's version! ;p *

So now, both of us feel like using an expensive laptop again *yup, kami memang perasan! Ahaks..*

And I also fixed *dengan bangganya..* the Bluetooth problem as well. FYI, after upgrading the OS to Win 7, suddenly the bluetooth function was disabled. Guess most of u'olls know that one great thing about Win 7 is, when we install it, it will automatically install the drivers needed for our PC. Of course u need to connect to Internet la.. 

But in our case, seems that the Bluetooth driver was left out during installation. So download and install je la.. Wakakaka...

Enche Suami, I'm now Computer Master-Ji.. With a sarcastic-look, he said, 

"Oh yeah, then how come you took half a day to work on this PC *referring to our room desktop PC* and still not working while I only took half an hour to get it work?" 

Note : The sentence might not be exactly like this, but sometin like this la.. Yg penting, nada sarcastic and tak mau menerima hakikat itu ada! Huh!

Cess... Sarcastic! Tak encouraging langsung! By then I decided to change it to Laptop master-Ji.. *with TnC which only covers Dell Studio 1537 problem.. Itu pon certain problems only!* Hahahahaha....

But anyway, glad now my gadgets working fine, Alhamdulillah..

So those who might face same problem, when upgrading to Win 7 for your Dell Studio 1537 Laptop, here's the links for you to get the files:

Bersyukurlah....

Assalamualaikum u'olls...

Been a while since I last wrote something in here.. The 'MALASian' disease attacked me, again.. *actually it never left pon.. Huhuhu...*

Ok, so, after a week plus I'm holidaying from coming to UIA, so here I am, back in UIA.. *Jasad je la pon.. Hati cuti lagi kot! Wakakaka..*.. Yesterday, I went to Jusco AEON AU Keramat with my sister.. 'Lepak'ing at StarBucks cafe.. That is actually my sister's studying spot.. Dia memang rajin pi study kat situ.. So yesterday, I feel like going with her, since memang I tak dak mood nak wat keje kat UIA.. Konon, nak tukar angin la.. *Alasan la tuh!.. *.. Alhamdulillah, dapat gak la finished reading and summarizing a journal.. I dunno whether my strategy of doing the literature review for my research ni is correct or not.. But, that is what I usually do, I take note some of important points from the journal, so that, later, if I need to refer to it, I just need to look at my notes.. 

And at the same time I compile those that are relevant to be added in my literature review.. So masa writing nanti, tak ada la serabut nak kumbah balik semua.. Summary pon dah ada.., jadi less time needed to re-read and write.. This is my strategy la.. Hoping that it works... Amin.. :)

One more thing that I do is, I make a template of daily report and print copies of it. So, everyday, I summarize what I do for the day. Reading journal ke, hands-on work ke, discussion ke.. Pape je la.. The purpose is just to ensure that I have done something for my research work at the end of the day.. Sort of a check point gitu la.. So bila I tengok balik, I can evaluate how did I do so far.. Hahaha.. Ye, macam poyo, but I need it, sebab research tak ada exam utk tentukan my stage now.. Jadi terpaksa wujudkan something to motivate myself untuk bekerja keras.. Hahaha....

Ok!! Pemenda I mengarut cite pasal research lak.. Hehe.. Lari tajuk betul.. Ok, today, I want to remind myself to be thankful for what I have now.. Bersyukur.. And why suddenly I nak mengingatkan myself to bersyukur? Coz currently I am soooooo angau to this thing below...

Adoi.... Ase dah seminggu kot dok usha mendalah ni kat net.. For u'olls information, this is Nokia N8 phone.. Ooppss, I know, last time I mentioned that I wanted Nokia C6-01.. But suddenly, I ternampak this babe and I fall in love to it.. 

The phone is actually not as gempak as others la kot.. It does not run on Android OS.. Nor Apple.. Like other Nokia smartphones, it run on Symbian OS.. But if u ask me, I don't care much about the OS.. Actually, I don't bother at all.. Since I'm not going to use the OS so much pon.. *rasanya la..*..

But what I like most about this babe is, the integrated camera spec.. 12MP pixel, 4000x3000 pixels, Carl-Zeiss optics (fullamak....), auto-focus, xenon flash and etc.. And yes, dah sah-sah la kalau compare dengan digi cam yg lain, memang la tak seberapa, but, having this features in a phone, kira ok sangat kot!!  *at least for me yang tak bape pandai technology nih... Hehe..*

Actually, currently, the spec of phone that I'm looking for pon memang nak yg ada high spec camera & touch screen.. Sebab, I nih jenis 'pot-pot' (translation : clumsy..), so I selalu lupa nak bawak camera.. But, I won't forget my phone to bring along.. Jadi, if my camera is integrated with my phone, tak ada la masalah nak snap Fatin's pics everywhere and anytime...Just take out my phone off and snap,snap! Macam I always do.. *walopon camera henpon ku tidak seberapa..* Heeee.... Dan boleh la dapat at least gambar yg sharp and tak pecah-pecah since guna camera yg agak bagus.. Ha.., logic kan my reason??

*Enche suami, I hope u read this... (sambil senyum-senyum manja, gitu! ;p).. Kot-kot you nak re-consider..*

Touch screen plak, sebab everybody else is now touch-screen-crazy.., so, I just want to be updated la.. Hahaha.. *Confirm surat rayuan kena tolak sebab guna this excuse.. Hihihi...*

But..., the price agak mencabar poket jugak la.. RM 1200-1300 gak la kot... Alamak aih.. Sekali kuar seriban.. Macam sosak napeh jugak la jang! Bila hint-hint kat enche suami, he said:

"Handphone awak kan sihat lagi.. Kita tak boleh membazir.. Kena simpan duit utk masa akan datang.. Soon we need large amount of money, all at once.. Jadi kena save up.. Bersyukurlah, dengan apa yg ada skang..."

*Note : the sentences have been re-phrased, coz I can't remember exactly word-by word of Enche Suami advice.. Hehehe...*

Jadi..., hmm.., punah la harapan.. And actually what he said is sooo true.. We need to save up, a lot! 

So, babe, sorry, I can't have you now.. I intai you dari jauh je la ek.. Ada masa, I intai-intai you lagi.. Hehe.. InsyaAllah, kalau tetibe rezeki jatuh dari langit, I gonna get you... 

For now, I kena BERSYUKUR.... Lagipon, Miss SE W705 is still strong & healthy.. *Walopon skang dia terpaksa bertabah kena campak jatuh katil bila cik Fatin Amani geram orang tak layan dia.. Haih...*.. Don't worry dear, selagi hayat you dikandung badan, I will never leave you...

Jasa mu ku kenang selalu... Hihihi

Last week sangat best berjimba-jimba.. Wednesday, went to movie with my chenta hati, Enche suami... Apa lagi, Transformers la.. Enche Suami kan stalker si robot-robot itu.. But anyway, the movie is SUPERB!!!! Rasa nak tengok lagi skali... Hehehe.. 
Then on Thursday is the GIRLS' DAY OUT!! 2 Mamas & 2 Girls.. Mama Dyana & Baby Hanaa, next time kita berjimba bersama-sama lagi tau..! Tapi, agak huru-hara kan bila mama-mama je yg kena handle anak-anak.. Tapi cane pon, sangat syiok ok! Tak sabar nak holiday secara berjemaah.. Hihihi... :)

Hello u'olls... Just got back from Educare.. Visiting my baby yg getting manja day by day.. Hadoi.. Tapi she learns a lot lately.. Always make us laughing eventhough tngah geram coz dia tak mau tido malam2.. Hehe..

Before I proceed with the topic, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate my dear friends.., IZZAH@ Cik Jah and Farid for their second baby... Cute baby boy, was born yesterday, at 530pm at Kampung Baru Medical Center (KBMC)... Congrates Cik Jah and Farid, tak lupa juge utk Kakak Farihah! Mesti si bijak tuh excited ada adik.. Hehehe... To baby boy (err..,tak tau nama the baby yet..), welcome to this world dear.. Semoga jadi anak soleh.. Amin...

Ok, back to the main topic.. Katakan TIDAK... To whom? To what? Jeng jeng jeng.. Bajet suspen la tuh.. Hehehe.. Katakan TIDAK kepada HANDPHONE BARU... Hahaha..

Actually, I planned on writing bout our family trip to Penang... But since something happen to one of my important stuff, I change the plan to tell bout that 1st.. Hihihi..

Apa yg penting sangat tuh? Oh, semestinya handset ku yg terchenta.. Believe it or not, I'm one of those yg very-very dependent on this gadget bernama handset. Woke up at 3am, sanggup tuh meraba2 dalam gelap carik handset.. Just wanna check what time it is.. Then, if I forgot to set the handset's alarm, alamatnya, both of us overslept la sampai terang.. Lagi satu, if I were to go out, one thing that definitely will be brought along, mesti handset.. Kalo tak ada, tak dak mood nak jalan.. Melampau kan?? ;p

Ye lah.. ye lah... I admit, I trok... Huhuhu...

Nak dijadikan story, it's so happen that my dearest handset started to act cranky (what a word... phone leh ka nak act cranky?? Hantam sajalah labu...) since last Saturday. Suddenly it became mute/deaf.. I couldn't hear a thing whenever I received call or even made a call.. Kena bukak loudspeaker baru lah dengar org di sana pny suara.. Apa ke hei nye.. Takkan everytime I need to on my loudspeaker to talk.. Troublesome la gak kan..

I suspected that it was the speaker that already spoiled. Sebab tuh dia jadik pekak... So, this morning, I decided to take my precious tuh to 'clinic'... After sending Fatin to Educare, I headed to Plaza Idaman, near by Ong Tai Kim tuh..

First store I stopped by said the problem is the 'ribbon' of the phone was already spoiled.. And to replace the ribbon cost me RM 160 for original and RM 100 for non-ori.. I was like, WHAT??? Bapak mahal.... Remembering husband advice that if the cost more than RM 100, don't take it..

Being a mithali wife (hehehehe ;p), I moved to other store.. Not long after I stopped at one store, there was also another chinese guy stopped by at the same store. It seems he wanted to change the RM 50 note. Ignoring him, I asked bout the price for the ribbon, and surprisingly the price a lot more cheaper than the 1st store.. Original RM 90 only, non-ori, 20bugs cheaper, RM 70... Satisfied with the price, I asked how long he needs to get it replaced.. He said, "petang sikit lorr..."... Alamak... I tepuk dahi.. Lamanya..

While I stood there thinking, should I leave my phone here, I looked at the other guy next to me. He was like signaling something to me.. Shaking his head, and signaled to the right.. Mula-mula I confuse, pemenda mamat ni cube buat.., but after some time, I got it.. He was trying to ask me to go to his store instead..

No harm trying kan? Kot-kot cheaper and faster ke.. So I left the store.. Buat2 jalan to the direction that he signaled.. Not long after that, he came after me and showed me the store. He said, "saya boleh offer kakak RM 75 saje for original ribbon maa... 90 mahal tau.. And setengah jam saja boleh siap.. Tak payah tunggu sampai pitang..."

Thank God!! I apa lagi, terus duduk depan kedai dia tu.. Hehe.. So he fixed my phone in half an hour, as he promised.. And he also get my phone cleaned, since the phone "sudah masuk ayer..". So it needs to be dried up and cleaned up.. Haish..., nih tak lain tak bukan keje Fatin Amani la nih, menggigit tepon Mama... Abis ayaq liyoq sume masuk.. Sebbaik dude tuh tak tau tuh saliva sebenarnya.. Wakakaka..

So, Alhamdulillah, now my precious is back in action.. Good like new... Hehehe... So I can proudly say, "Katakan TIDAK kepada handphone baru...". hehehe.. Bukan kedekut, jimat... Banyak menda nak kena pakai duit soon.. Jadi kena jimat cermat..

Lagipon, I sayang my phone nih.. This is a gift from my husband when I was pregnant.. And jangan terkejut if I said, this is the only thing that I mengidam gila-gila while pregnant.. Hahaha... Cam pelik kan, tapi masa tuh teringin sangat nak handset baru.. And particularly this model.. I think hubby kesian tgok I dok membelek gambar handset nih kat internet hari-hari siang & malam, dia belikan jugak.. Hahaha.....

Ok...citer dah abis... But...but..., just wanna share something with u'olls bout the 'ribbon' yg I dok mentioned tuh.. U'olls leh imagine tak ribbon tuh cane?? Ha.. meh nih nak share.. It looks like below pic..

For u'olls info, this ribbon is actually plays a very important role in our phone.. It actually contains a lot of electric circuits that make our phone function. If in industry, this ribbon is called 'flex film'.. It is actually plays exactly the same role as PCB (printed circuit board). The only difference is it is thin in shape enabling a slim and thin phone (or other gadget) design...

Cane I leh tau? Oh..sebab nih la one of my main projects when I was an engineer at Flextronics dulu.. I was responsible to develop test methods to test these tiny things before it can be assembled to the phone.. I would say, I valued the experience and knowledge that I gained while doing this project.. Sangat sangat best...

Rupa-rupanya, this tiny little thing, yang I dok buat main dulu, costly jugak leh tahan! Huhuhu.. Tau dulu I rembat banyak2 masa company was closing down.. hehehe..
