Now, this girl is the only Educare student in our home

Alhamdulillah, Faris has been offered to enroll to Educare this coming September..

Offer letter yg dinanti-nanti..

I'm excited, at the same time, I'm worried *I'm a mother! that's what I do best..worrying! ;p*

Alhamdulillah, Faris teacher-to-be was Fatin's teacher when she first entered Educare back in 2010. Teacher Murni... I knew her, and I trust her to take care of my kids. The other 2 teachers, tak sure lagi siapa. But I'm sure they are good people and will take care of my baby like their own. 

In fact, all of the teachers are trained, and this center is recognized by Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia, and it's a breastfeeding-friendly daycare center.  The teachers are trained to handle expressed breast milk and feed breastfed baby.

Sebab itu lah si Mama *and I percaya ramai mama2 yg lain* ini sanggup tunggu berbulan-bulan nak masukkan jugak Faris dekat Educare sama dengan Fatin. Haha.. Desperado sungguh..

BUT, through experience, they are risk that Faris will be exposed to various kinds of contagious disease. Yg common, selsema, batuk... Yg agak dasyat, chicken pox, diarrhea and HFMD. So, I have to be ready of the endless episodes of selsema & batuk.. Anyway, I'm praying hard that my lil boy is much tougher that her sister and tak kena jangkit langsung! Boleh? Hahaha... And I'm planning to start giving him Scott Emulsion, tapi setelah meng'google', there's no dosage guidance for infant below 12months. Therefore, that plan had to wait... Nanti Faris dah setahun, boleh la start bagi..

So, ok.. Doakan Faris happy & enjoy his time at Educare. Harap-harap semuanya baik-baik sahaja.. Amin..

So, happy schooling adik Faris!

My 5months lil boy. He's 7.8kg and 67cm long now.. Faris tengah buat breakdance..Hahahaha

Guess why I put up the photos of different flowers up here? Cer teka..cer teka.. Hehe..

Tak tau? Givup? Givup? *remind me of my childhood days.. Hate it when my sister forced me to say 'givup' if I didn't know the answer for the riddles that she gave before she told me the correct answer!*

Actually, the pictures are the name of the flowers that my daughter's classes are named of.. *macam tunggang terbalik ayat ni.. Tapi den maleh nak betolkan.. So, bear wif me la ek! Ahaks..*

On her first day in Educare back in Dec 2011, she was placed in Magnolia class. Then in June 2011, she was transferred to Canangium class. Today, she is again transferred to Hibiscus class.. Alhamdulillah..

This morning, I sent her to her new class. Anak mama dah besar.. She didn't cry pon when her new teacher took her.. Class arrangement pon is a bit different as compared to last 2 classes. More toys and there is small desk in the corner. 

And I was briefed that there will be more activities for the children. Sleeping time is only once in a day. Before this, twice a day.. Hmm.., hopefully, it'll be easier to get her fall asleep at night since she only sleeps once at school.. Hahaha...

Then, they will be trained to eat by themselves. Siap la mama menyental baju berlemuih dengan makanan lepas nih.. Hahaha.. Actually kat rumah dah train jugak makan and minum sendiri.. Memang sepah la.. What do you expect kan, 18months toddler makan, confirm la 'pupah' (translate = tumpah) .Pandai lak tuh ngadu kalau dia tumpah kan food or drinks, 

"Mama..pupah, pupah!".. 

Kalau kita tanya balik, "Tumpah.. Sapa buat?". 

Dengan confidentnya dia jawab, "Ayah.. Babab Ayah!". 

Kasihan Ayah.. Tiba-tiba jadi scape-goat pule.. Wakakaka...

Lepas tuh satu kerja lak la nak mengemas, but, it's ok la, for her growth, Mama & Ayah rela! *Ecececeh... Sebbaik Enche Suami I dengan cik penyapu kawan baik... Ngeee...*

But actually, i risau jugak with her 'manja terlebih' and 'ngada-ngada' attitude ni! Almaklumlah, now all the attentions directs to her.. Mengada-ngada la.. 

Yesterday, I was cooking when she came and asked me to 'addu' her (translate = dukung) *don't ask me why it becomes 'addu', ask her! She's the one who created the term..Hehe*, I refused. Ye lah.. I'm worried kang terkena minyak ke hape kan.. Then, she started to cry and suddenly went to the wall and hugged the wall, while crying.. I was like.., "Heh, mana pulak dia belajar peluk-peluk tiang macam hindustan neh??"

Tepuk dahi.. Anakanda...Oh anakanda..

So k lah.. Guess it wud be all for today.. Back to work! Hehehe.. Kena merajinkan diri! Kalau diikutkan perangai malas I neh, sampai ke sudah kerja tak settle.. Haha!

Syabbas Bette....Syabbas!!

Assalamualaikum peeps!!


Good morning!!! Wassup? Wassup?

Lama betul tak update blog... Don't have much time nowadays.. Yup, yup, semester is going to end soon, so got loads of works need to be done.. And interestingly, all 4subjects that I take this semester got mini project.. So imagine, 4 projects to be submitted around the same time.. Fuhhh.... Challenging huh?
3/4 got to do wif MATLAB.. Memang berchenta la weh dengan MATLAB... Tapi takpe...it's a learning process.. Mana tau nanti leh apply for Master's project..

Eh, sedar tak sedar, I dah abis class la!! This is my last sem doing course work (InsyaAllah..., kalo tak ada sangkut...) and next sem I'll be doing research plak. So, last week was my last class la.. Mmg betol2 last for my entire studying journey, sebab PhD confirm-confirm no class.. Alamak..,camana leh tak perasan. Kalo tak leh celebrate dengan oblong sedap bro blakang umah ni ke.. Hahaha..

Ok, ok..dah. Don't deviate too much. Back to the topic.. Actually, I wanna say SYABBAS, CONGRATS, TAHNIAH.., to my lil' girl for finally walking!!!! Yeay!!!! The date was 29th March. Actually, it's been a week la she started to walk sket2 without support..

But yesterday, she managed to walk quite a distance (8,9 steps) without falling.., so I want to make yesterday as official date..

Fatin Amani started to walk on 29th March 2011 on her 13months and 3days old...

Alhamdulillah... Mama is so happy for you sayang.. You did it!! (And as usual, Iwill be the one who are over excited.. LoL.. Nak buat camana, I can't help it.. ;p )

Other than walking, I think she has made much progress in her 12-13 months nih.. She can pronounce a few words now, 'Mama', 'mamam' = makan, 'tatak' = katak, (why katak?Nanti saya story..Hehe) and some other words.. 'Ayah' blom lagi.. Soon.. InsyaAllah..

And she mumbled a lot.. And when she talked, her face expression is so confident that others paham la pe yg dia tengah cerita tuh.. Usually we have to pretend that we understand la by nodding and cakap, 'Oh..ye ke.. Lepas tuh?'.. hehe..

And she's good at acting too.. The props is the phone. Iye-iye la berlakon tengah cakap thru the phone.. Siap ada pause in the middle tu as if like that 'someone' on the other end tengah cakap pulak and she's listening, pastu sambung cakap balik... Hehe..
And sometimes she likes to pretend she picks something from the floor and give it to me or others. Konon macam bagi something la.. Pastu dia tadah tangan lak soh kita bagi kat dia plak. Padahal tak ada apa-apa pon.. Berlakon... Tak apa..layan kan aje..

And sangat suka 'mengemas' ok... Pantang kalau mama bukak drawer baju dia tuh,abis sume 'dikemas'nya...

She shows interest on books too.. Bila nampak buku, she will give it to me to read it out for her. Started when her Ayah bought a colorful story book about 'Katak' with mata yg leh gerak2. She loves it. And sebab tuh la among her first word is 'Tatak' = katak. Wakakaka...
So hubby and I decided to make it a routine to bring her to a book store at least once a month to create her interest to books more and more...

Ok la.. That's all for now.. Tak de gambo.. Next time la I update pics plak.. Maleh nak transfer gambo from tepon cabok tuh.. Hihihi..

Fatin is now using a new feeding bottle. I bought MAM Anti-Colic bottle for her last weekend. She likes it!! Teacher dia kat Educare pon cakap dia suka pakai botol nih.. Laju je minum susu.. I should change to it earlier la.. Aiseymen.. Hehe...
Oh lagi satu..., starting from April, Educare fee is increased by RM50. So becomes RM250.. Pada I, ok je.. Mahal sket takpe, asalkan kita yakin our children is at good hand and I can see she's progressing in terms of learning and tak takut org sangat dah since she's been to Educare.. :)

Emptiness

Suddenly it feels so empty in the house when she's not around..

Huhuhu.. Fatin, Mama rindu Fatin...

Aduhai, angau apa plak dah.. Hahaha..

It was ME who was so eager to send her out to childcare.. Now it is ME jugak la yg dok gila bayang tengok buai yg kosong.. Oh Anakanda!!!
What is she probably been doing now? Harap-harap Ning Baizura Educare tak buat show now.. Jadi-jadi la tuh... Huhuhu

I went to Educare at 1pm. The intention is to breastfeed her.. All the way from home, driving manual car lagi (gagah tuh..walopon tak terer..), to see her.. Oh, why am I driving the manual car instead my automatic Myvi?? Panjang ceritanya.. Len entry I story..

But when I arrived, she was sleeping. The teachers said, she just fall asleep. So, didn't want to wake her up, I pon balik.. Hehe.. Semata-mata kan?
But somehow, I feel a bit relief. At least, I saw my baby without her drama airmata at school.. Tenang je muka dia tidur.. Alhamdulillah.. Hopefully she's better than yesterday..

Pukul 4 Mama will pick you up, ok sayang... Lepas tuh kite main big hug.. Hihihi..

Since skang I tgah mood rindu gitu, put up some of her cute faces lah in this entry..Hehe..

Fatin's 1st day @ school..

Hey ya..

I'm going to write a short description on my baby's 1st day @ school today.. no mood to write long story..maybe next entry..huhuhu

hmm, today, Fatin dengan jayanya has been named as 'Ning Baizura Educare' by her teacher Murni because she melalak punya la kuat ala-ala Ning Baizura pny suara sporano..

Masa tinggal nangis, masa datang tgahari nak breastfeed tengah nangis, ,masa tinggal lagi skali, nangis balik, masa datang petang nak amik, pon tengah nangis..

Sudah-sudah,dengan mama skali nangis.. Tapi kat luar la.. Bukan dalam educare.. kang teacher dia nampak, tak pasal-pasal kena pujuk mama Fatin plak.. Jenuh!! Huhuhu

Balik rumah, pukul 9, Fatin dah padam, kepenatan melalak seharian..

Sian anak mama.. Mama pula yg rasa pilu melihat anakanda begitu..

Haish.. Be strong!! Positive Farah, positive!!!

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for her.. InsyaAllah.. Baik-baik ye honey.. Esok jangan jadi Ning Baizura lagi ye.. Siti Nurhaliza ok sket,sedap gak telinga mendengar.. (eh,sempat lagi..)

Selain daripada kesiankan keadaan Fatin, ada lagi citer menyayat hati yg berlaku ini hari.. But will write bout it later...

TAK DE MOOD........ :(

1st December, tarikh keramat

Di suatu pagi yang hening, I sedang mengemas almari baju anakanda I yang bleh tahan berseleraknya (oooppss…hehe..).Tiba-tiba, handset I mendendangkan lagu ‘Hatin’ On The Club’ menandakan ada panggilan yg masuk. I jenguk kat screen tuh, naik no UIA..

Tanpa berlengah lagi, I pon terus menjawab panggilan tersebut (wahh,ayat skema! Tak leh blah.. Hihihi).

Me : Hello..

No UIA : Assalamualaikum. Pn Farahiyah

ke?

Me : Ye saya..

No UIA : Ok puan. Saya call dari Educare UIA..

Me : Ok… (sambil hati berdebar-debar.. Ada good news kah?)

Educare UIA : Saya nak tnya puan, skang ni

ada satu kekosongan utk anak puan, adik Fatin Amani.. Saya nak Tanya, Puan masih berminat ke nak hantar anak puan ke Educare..

I was like, stunned for a moment… Can’t believe this.. It is a GOOD news… Yeay!!!

Me : Ye ke?? Alhamdulillah….. Ye, ye..saya memang nak!

Educare UIA : Ok, kalau macam tuh, saya akan masukkan nama Fatin utk kemasukan 1^st December ye puan..

Me : Baiklah… (dengan hati yang berbunga2

..)

Dan perbualan seterusnya was related to registration, briefing and visit session and fees stuff… Tak yah la I tulis sini.. Boring je.. hehe..

So, Alhamdulillah, Fatin is finally accepted in IIUM educare. I’m so grateful to Allah for giving us this rizq..

At least, one of my problem in mama-study thingy can be solved.. Haha.. InsyaAllah, hopefully, by sending her there, I can be more focus on my stu

dies without feeling guilty and selfish by letting my parents (my mama especially) to terkejar-kejar jaga cucu and handling house chores.

And a really good thing ‘bout it, she will be near by only.. So I can go and visit her in the afternoon to breastfeed her…

Ha, one more plus point for Educare, they can handle breastfed babies. Meaning to say, if let say I tak dapat datang utk feed Fatin pon, I can just leave the EBM stock to the teachers. Diorang are trained to handle EBM.. So, Alhamdulillah, breastfeeding journey won’t be disturbed.. J

And lagi, IIUM Educare nih is under PERMATA (alah, yg Datin Rosmah Mansor, the PM’s wife, dok sibuk-sibuk kat TV tuh..). So I sangat berharap

the childcare service there is tip-top la.. Seiring la dengan pe yg diwar-warkan dekat tv tuh kan… Hehe..

Cam poyo kan Mama Fatin nih?? Bukan apa, first time I’ll be letting strangers to take care of my baby.. Before this, princess nih kan duduk dengan nenek & atok dia bila ayah keje & mama pi class @ study..

So, ada perasaan sedikit riso (to be honest, bukan sedikit, banyak….coz dah 2,3 malam I mimpi related to sending-Fatin-to-school thingy…Haishhh…). It’s natural kan for a mother to feel that? Ye lah, anak sulung plak tuh!

I’m worried about how gentle the teachers will be tr

eating her, can she adapt with the new environment, sabar ke dak the teachers layan karenah dia.. Haishhh…. (mengeluh lagi…)

Dibuatnya dia keep crying for hours, mogok minum susu, mogok makan, mogok tidur, cane?? Ye lah, anak dara I nih takut org sket.. Dia ‘kurang’ mau dengan strangers..

These are the things that I dok menungkan these 2,3 days… Hmm… Ingatkan I sorang je, rupa-rupanya enche suami pon sama..!

But I keep telling myself, she’ll be better off there.. She’ll meets new friends, so will improve her communication skill (aik,baby pon ada communication skill???). Silap…silap.., improve her social skill.. (better kot?! Apa-apa je lah! Hehe).

Then, hopefully, after she’s done with her tak-mau-dengan-teacher period, she can be more friendly with strangers (ooppss, not too friendly baby! Zaman skang nih bahaya! Org jahat-jahat!).

At least tak de la melalak kat kenduri bile kawan-kawan mama & ayah nak main dengan dia.. Bak kata ayah Fatin : “Bikin malu kompeni saje…”. Hehehe…

Lagi, InsyaAllah, her IQ can be increased from time to time since @ Educare they have some kind of module to train the children and make sure their development is as par as it should be. Each children ada report card tau! And there are 2 sessions in a year for teacher-parents meeting, to discuss the children’s development and performance.

So, I hope, anak mama nanti leh bijak macam Kakak Farihah.. Lom cukup 2 years old, dah pandai baca doa makan with English translation lagi and dan hafal alif bat a & ABC.. Pandainya!!! J
